Eksteen claims Durban Multisport Series win

GG: You set a new record and took your third win on the Big Island, congratulations! Is there anything left to motivate you to carry on winning, and more importantly, wanting to win? I know you enjoy the lifestyle/training/racing, but doesn’t the commitment and focus start fading sooner or later? Or not?
CA: No, I am still motivated to improve as an athlete. Winning the third title and breaking the record hasn’t really changed that. It was extremely satisfying and ended up being a great season, but I still feel that I can improve and that is reason enough to continue, as long as I have the support of my family.
